Spencer has always been drawn to bold lines, wild characters, and the strange and unusual. As a kid, he spent hours sketching Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and superheroes — never knowing those childhood sketches would one day help him find purpose again.
At 27, Spencer was diagnosed with psoriasis. What started as a skin condition became something far more serious — eventually affecting his ability to use his hands. For a long time, drawing wasn’t even an option. That period was dark, uncertain, and life-altering.
It was during that time that he connected deeply with Doctor Strange — not just as a fan, but as someone living a parallel story. A surgeon who lost the use of his hands and had to rebuild everything. That narrative became fuel — and inspired Spencer to fight his way back to art.
The name “Strange Collection” came from that journey — a tribute to resilience, creativity, and the strange paths that bring us back to ourselves.
Now fully back at the table, Spencer creates every piece by hand — blending pop culture, comic energy, and urban influence into each slab and drop. His work is featured across all Strange Collection releases — from 1-of-1s to limited runs.

Vanessa and Spencer are naturally in sync — both passionate, detail-oriented, and fully committed to what they do. While Spencer brings the art, Vanessa ensures the business is handled with care, precision, and pride.
She oversees every part of the operation — from cutting and assembling slabs by hand, to managing customer service, payments, inventory, and fulfillment. Her focus and determination are what keep Strange Collection running at its highest level.
